Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impregnation cathode assembly in which weld strength of a heater and a support can be improved.SOLUTION: An impregnation cathode assembly includes: a cathode base impregnated with an emissive material and having an electron emission surface; an outer cylinder provided on the surface of the cathode base opposite to the electron emission surface; an inner cylinder provided on the inside of the outer cylinder; an annular support having a notch provided on the outer wall of the inner cylinder at the end on the side opposite to the cathode base side, or on the inner wall of the outer cylinder at the end on the side opposite to the cathode base side; a coil provided in the notch and consisting of a linear member wound spirally; and a heater provided between the outer wall of the inner cylinder and inner wall of the outer cylinder, and having one end provided in the coil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
