PURPOSE: To regenerate the deterioration and pinholes of a liquid membrane caused by long-term use of an impregnated type liquid membrane.

CONSTITUTION: By an impregnated type liquid membrane where the pores of a porous membrane are impregnated with a special liquid membrane agent, specified components of a feed liquid in contact with one side of the membrane are extracted into a liquid membrane agent and the specified components are backextracted from the liquid membrane agent with a recovery liquid in contact with the other side of the liquid membrane. In the case where the impregnated liquid membrane agent is deteriorated by long-term running, there are provided heating gas introducing lines 40, 41 for drying the inside of a feed tank and a recovery tank and lines 31, 35 for feeding the liquid membrane agent to the liquid membrane. In the case where the specified components are recovered from the feed liquid, the feed liquid is circulated through 10-11-101-12 and the recovery liquid is circulated through 20-21-102-22 to use it. In the case where the impregnated type liquid membrane is regenerated, first the heating gas is fed through 40-101-41-50-42-10 to evaporate liquid in 101 and next the liquid membrane agent is fed through 30-31-101-32-33.
