To provide an impregnation method and an impregnation apparatus which can securely prevent leak from a blow hole of a die-cast casting requiring pressure resistance.
The opening of a workpiece is clogged with a seal part in a workpiece pressing fixture to form a closed internal space, and impregnation liquid is force-fed to the internal space at pressure higher than the resisting pressure required for the workpiece. The pressure of the impregnation liquid is held till the impregnation liquid fed to the inside space of the workpiece passes through the blow hole and exudes to the outside face of the workpiece. In this way, the impregnation liquid flows to a direction in which a leak occurs, oil or the stain of a mold release agent or the like remaining in the blow hole is securely exhausted to the outside of the blow hole, and the leak from the blow hole can be securely prevented.
