Abstract:
To provide an impression cap for a reference implant, ensuring accurate transfer of the position of a dental implant in both methods, a closed tray method and an open tray method.
The impression cap for the dental implant includes a hole (8) extending in the longitudinal direction between two end areas (4, 6) of the impression cap. The hole is configured in such a way that it can receive a fastening element, which is intended to connect the impression cap to the dental implant via a first end area (4). The impression cap includes a connection element formed in the shape to provide snap-fit type connection releasable between the impression cap and the dental implant in a second end area (6) remote from the first area.
