Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a repairing operation even in the case of printing a sheet to be printed having an elasticity such as a metal thin plate or the like.
SOLUTION: Cutout parts 4 extended to both ends of an impression cylinder 1 parallel to an axis (a perpendicular direction to this paper) of the cylinder 1 are formed at two positions on outer peripheral surfaces 3', 3" of the cylinder 1. Pawl units 5 for grasping a sheet 10 to be printed are respectively assembled in the parts 4. The units 5 each has a plurality of pawls 6 and rotates cooperatively with a rotation of a rotary shaft 7. A film 8 is wound substantially on an overall peripheral area of the surfaces 3', 3" of the cylinder 1. The film 8 is made of one layer of a thin resin having a wear resistance in a shape for avoiding the pawl 6. The sheet 10 passes between the cylinder 1 an a rubber cylinder 51b. if the film 8 is damaged, a press contact surface of the film 8 with the sheet 10 can be repaired merely by replacing it.
