Abstract:

To alleviate a work load by facilitating replacement of a plate.

An imprinter unit can replace a common design to be printed by a printer partly or entirely with a different design. The imprinter unit comprises a plate cylinder 103 having a press plate 11 mounted thereon, and a transfer cylinder 104 to which the design of the plate 11 is transferred in such a manner that the plate 11 is constituted of a gapless press plate not having a seam.
