Abstract:

To provide a charge pump which meets pressure requirements of a charge circuit and a auxiliary circuit with minimum power loss.

A charge pump having two independent outlets being capable of meeting pressure requirements of both a charge circuit and a auxiliary circuit is provided. The charge pump is a multiple roller vane pump which comprises at least one inlet and two outlets independent of one another. The first outlet is in fluid communication with the charge circuit and the second outlet is in fluid communication with the auxiliary circuit. Two outlets are independent of one another, so the roller vane pump can independently meet pressure requirements of both the charge circuit and the auxiliary circuit. Two outlets preferably face each other in diametrical direction, and thereby a load applied on a driving shaft is reduced. Preferably, the roller vane has the second inlet independent of the first inlet.
