Abstract:
To obtain a composition for control of smoking, in more details, reducing appetite of smoking, and to provide a method for producing the same.
The compositions for the control of smoking comprises: (a) a xanthine oxidase inhibitor; (b) a phosphate or a compound capable of releasing phosphate on administration to a subject; and optionally (c) a sugar; and further optionally (d) one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or excipients. The control of smoking is carried out by administering the composition to a subject having smoking habit and in need of such treatment.
