Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution different from the already known method of passing an electric current in an electric circuit interrupted by electroconductive plates by circulating an electroconductive fluid between the electroconductive plates in a device for heating treatment of the fluid by an ohmic heating means.
SOLUTION: This improved device for the ohmic heating of the fluid comprises heating chambers (2) limited by walls, and the walls are constituted of electroconductive plates (3, 4) having a selected prescribed distance between them. The chamber has inlets (9, 12) for introducing the fluid at the vicinity of the first end parts of the plates (3, 4), outlets (10, 12) arranged in the vicinity of the second end part of the plates (3, 4) present on the opposite side, and for gathering the fluid after circulating between the plates in the direction nearly parallel to the plates, and a means for charging the electric current to the plates in the form of the fluid being reheated in the chamber by the ohmic effect when the fluid is circulated in the direction nearly parallel to the plates.
