Abstract:

To surely disinfect the surface of an article to be disinfected having a complicated shape with a small amount of disinfectant without giving bad influence to the article.

A liquid disinfectant containing activatable agents, surfactants and/or agents to assist in drying is sonicated and atomized at a frequency selected to be above 1.5 MHz, preferably above 2 MHz in an atomizing chamber. The formulation of the disinfectant is such that 90% of micro droplets are between 0.8 and 2.0 micrometers in diameter, and disinfection processing is performed at 40°C or below.
