Abstract:

To produce a hydrogen storage alloy exhibiting large capacitance without sacrificing its characteristics such as a cycle life, discharge rate, discharge voltage, polarization, self-discharge, low temperature capacitance and low temperature voltage.

This irregular electrochemical hydrogen storage alloy is composed of (a base alloy)aCobMncFedSne [wherein; the base alloy is composed of, by atom, 0.1 to 60% Ti, 0.1 to 40% Zr, 0 to 60% V, 0.1 to 57% Ni and 0 to 56% Cr; (b) is 0 to 7.5%; (c) is 13 to 17%; (d) is 0 to 3.5%; (e) is 0 to 1.5%; and a+b+c+d+e=100%).
