PURPOSE: To obtain the subject solid excellent in mildness and lathering properties by adding a predetermined amt. of a specific full fatty acid soap and a predetermined amt. of water.
CONSTITUTION: Full fatty acid soap is constituted of about 65-85 wt.% of saturated fatty acid soap selected from a group consisting of myristic acid soap, palmitic acid soap, stearic acid soap and a mixture of them and about 15-35 wt.% of soap selected from a group consisting of oleic acid (A), lauric acid (B), minor (8C, 10C, 18.2C) fatty acid soap (C) and a mixture of them and about 30-70 wt.% of this full fatty acid soap and about 15-30 wt.% of water are added to constitute the objective solid. The sum total amt. of A, B and C in the solid is set to about 8-25 wt.% and the amt. of A is set to 0- about 25 wt.% and that of B is set to 0- about 10 wt.% and that of C is set to 0- about 5 wt.%. Further, a ratio of (A+B)/C is set to about 1/1- about 1/0. Full fatty acid soap is composed of a mixture of Na soap and K soap and this mixture amt. is set to about 90-100% by wt. of the total soap and a ratio of Na/K soap is set to about 95/5 - about 60/40.
