PURPOSE: To provide a liquid cleaner containing a detergent surface active agent, an improved butoxy-propanol, a builder and water, effective for grease, oil or inorganic granular contamination without forming a film or stripe on a cleaned surface, and having a favorable odor.
CONSTITUTION: This cleaner comprises (A) about 0.1-40% of a detergent surface active agent preferably consisting of sodium (8-18C) alkylbenzenesulfonate or the like, (B) about 0.5-25% of a butoxy-propanol containing about 20% or less (preferably about 10% or less) of a secondary isomer, (C) 30% or less of a cleaning builder preferably consisting of tetrapotassium pyrophosphate or the like, (D) about 50% or more of water, and, as occasion demands, (E) about 0.1-4% of a perfume composition, and this cleaner is packed in a vessel not suitable for preparing a spray (the odor of the component B is not so much improved as it is suitable for spraying).
