Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a part made from a ceramic matrix composite material where the mechanical properties of the parts made from ceramic matrix composite (CMC) material are maintained and/or the dimensions, tolerance and/or surface roughness are preserved.

There is provided the method for producing parts made from CMC material using a device for tensioning a preform made from interlaced fibers and the preform. In the method, the preform is tensioned before and during densification using the tensioning device (100), the tensioning device comprises a body (2), a first assembly member (3), a second assembly member (4) and a control rod. The first and second assembly members are separated from each other by the movement of the second assembly member caused by the rotation of the control rod and then the preform is tensioned along a longitudinal direction.
