Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for expression of enzyme system and the conversion ratio of a racemic mixture.
SOLUTION: This invention is an improvement of the preparation method of D-α-amino acid by a stereo selective translation of 5-substituted-hydantoin racemic mixture using an enzyme system prepared by microorganism, and the improvement is based on the use of a microorganism which is a genetic transformant with plasmid pS700 and cultured at 20-28°C. The expression of the enzyme system is improved and the conversion ratio of a racemic hydantoin to a D-α-amino acid is increased.
