Abstract:
To provide an improved semi-blown asphalt having crazing and peeling resistances better than those of a semi-blown asphalt composition (AC-100) for road pavement by adopting low-temperature two-stage blowing and to provide a process for producing the same.
This composition has improved crazing and peeling resistances and is obtained by blending 35-65wt.% semi-blown asphalt composition (AC-100) with 20-10wt.% deasphalted residuum obtained by the solvent-deasphalting of a vacuum residuum and 45-25wt.% extracted oil obtained by extracting a deasphalted oil obtained by the solvent-deasphalting of a vacuum residuum and blowing the obtained blend again.
