Title:
IMPROVED SENSOR SUPPORT SUBSTRATE AND ITS APPLICATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01221138
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make possible to endure a large lifting force on holding a transducer, by providing a supporting base to support a transducer sensor having an opening and a flexible outer part over the periphery of a hard inner part. CONSTITUTION: A hollow tubular element 12 is mounted to a supporting base 10, which has inner part 18 comprising a comparatively hard plasticizer and an outer part 20 with comparative softness and flexibility such as a flexible rubber or plasticizer. An adhesion layer 30 is mounted onto a constant surface 16 of the supporting base 10, which itself is covered with a movable paper backsheet 32. A series of openings are formed at the supporting base, skin of patient can be breathed, and a soluble solution passes through the openings to dissolve the adhesive agent to make easy to remove a supporting panel from the skin. A flexible membrane 28 covering the opening of the hollow tubular element 12 is mounted so as not to contact a transducer with the patient.
