Abstract:
To disclose a solid medium useful for a variety of applications, such as a separation medium, a catalytic substance, a drug carrier, a sensor material, and a combinatorial chemical medium.
The solid medium contains PNPs (crosslinked polymer nanoparticles) having an average diameter of 1-50 nm, and the PNPs include as polymerized units a multi-ethylenically-unsaturated monomer. The separation medium is formed from at least one of the solid medium modified with PNPs.
