Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently and industrially producing basic aluminum chloride having high basicity.
In this method for improving basicity of basic aluminum chloride by adding a mixed solution of sodium aluminate and sodium carbonate to a basic aluminum chloride solution, the temperature at which the mixed solution is added is in a range of 30-80°C and the weight of sodium in sodium aluminate is 0.1-0.7 the weight of sodium in sodium carbonate.
