Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide wet lubricant oil comprising dispersion of the wax where the specified oxidized wax product is dispersed in the aq. phase by means of the specified dispersant, and by which occurrence of wrinkle and chafe mark is prevented in pretreatment, dyeing or aftertreatment of woven or knitted goods. CONSTITUTION: A wet lubricant oil comprising an aq. dispersion where (A) an oxidized hydrocarbon wax or a mixture thereof or a mixture of the wax and a non-oxidized hydrocarbon wax having the acid number of ≥5 is dispersed by means of (B) a dispersant comprising a non-ionic, anionic, cationic or amphoteric surfactant or a mixture of two or more of them and having HLB of ≥7 is added in a bath for dyeing or pre- or after-treating fiber structures, particularly cellulosic fibers, particularly in the rope form, by a winch or jet dyeing machine, etc., to prevent occurrence of rope wrinkle and chafe mark and to obtain fibers with high quality. Although the dispersion is stable even in the case temp. change and high electrolyte concentration, it is desirable to use a protective colloid or a pH controlling agent, etc., together.
