Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a process for preventing pathogens by applying toxic protein to plant pathogens.
CONSTITUTION: A method of preventing plant pathogens which comprises applying to plant pathogens or the habitus thereof such protein as capable to control plant pathogens, wherein the amino acid sequence of the said protein includes the amino acid sequence of position 15 up to and inclusive of position 96 of SEQ ID No. 1 or a functionally equivalent modification thereof (provided that one or more amino acids have been added, substituted and/or deleted).
