Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the shelf stability of a diazo-base image forming material for producing a printing plate forming material.
CONSTITUTION: In an image forming material with a photosensitive layer contg. a diazo resin or diazonium salt on a hydrophilic substrate, the photosensitive layer contains hydrolyzed polyvinyl acetate and a cationic fluorine-contg. surfactant as a binder by at least 95wt.% and the hydrophilic substrate is preferably a substrate with a hydrophilic layer contg. a hydrophilic (co)polymer or its mixture and hardened with a hydrolyzed tetraalkyl o-silicate crosslinking agent.
