To improve the conveyability of pulverized fine coal made of raw coal having ≥30 average HGI coal by sticking specified chemical.
This specified chemical is composed of a compound selected from one or more kinds of alcohol having ≤10 carbonatoms and an amine having $10 carbonatoms. The chemical is added and stuck to pulverized fine coal, and the conveyability of the pulverized fine coal dried in an injecting hole of a metallurgical furnace or a combustion furnace is improved and a large amount convey can be attained. The adding rate of the chemical to the pulverized fine coal is desirably 0.01-30wt.%. Further, the conveyability is improved by applying it to the coal having poor conveyability and the usable range in the kind of coal capable of being used for in infection of the pulverized fine coal can be extended. At the same time, since a good fluidity is attainel in the pulverized coal, the hanging in a hopper can be prevented, and further, variation with time in discharging quantity from the hopper and the deviation in distribution can largely be improved.
