Title:
IMPROVING-STABILIZING WORK OF GROUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6471915
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the ground while preventing the scattering of dust by a method in which a mixture of a hydraulic composition and quick lime is mixed with a breaking agent, and the mixture is molded, laid on the ground to be stabilized, and compacted.

CONSTITUTION: The ground to be improved is graded, and a solidifying agent composed of an almond nut-shaped briquettes is uniformly spread over the ground by using a rake. The solidifying agent is mixed with soil by a stabilizer for stabilizing the ground. The solidifying agent is obtained by forming a mixture of a hydraulic composition selected from at least one of cement, slag, and gypsum and quick lime, magnesia-lime, or a mixture of these in a proportion of 5W95:95W5 by weight, containing 0.5W1.5wt.% a breaking agent, into an almond nut-shaped briquettes by compression molding. The scattering of dust during the stabilizing operation can thus be prevented.
