Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a means for effectively removing water from fluid and being used for purification of inert gas, hydrogen gas, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A sealed adsorption chamber 10 has openings 23, 24 to allow fluid to pass, and the chamber 10 contains adsorbent 15 essentailly consisting of natural zeolite whose iron content is less than the specified level. Fluid is guided from the opening 23 into the adsorption chamber 10 to allow impurities in the fluid to be adsorbed. The natural zeolite being used is one having Si/Al ratio about 4 or more, and is activated at a temperature specified within about 250W900°C before adsorption.
