PURPOSE: To automatically adjust a position of an operation unit composed of an operation switch group of a radio or an air conditioner or the like according to a body shape or a posture of a driver.

CONSTITUTION: A seat position or the seat position and a steering position are detected, and a hip point 100 of a driver and further a shoulder point 102 of the driver are found by operation. An adjusting position of an operation unit 60 is calculated with the shoulder point 102 as a reference so that the operation unit 60 is situated within a range which is found in terms of human engineering and in which the driver can comfortably operate the operation unit, and a motor is driven. Since a position of the operation unit 60 is automatically adjusted by interlocking with the seat position or the steering position, the driver can always comfortably operate the operation unit 60.
