Abstract:
The catalyst is prepared from a colloid suspension of a metal oxide which is then deposited on a support and reduced to metal. By this means an increased activity of the catalyst is obtained. The catalyst comprises a support and at least one metal, the metallic particles being of mean size greater than 1 nm. More than 80% of the particles are in the range D plus or minus (D.O.2) where D is the main particle size. Independent claims are also included for the preparation of the catalyst and its uses.
