To efficiently use a communication network resource in a hospital.
A PDA server 7 which receives information for a change in order information of a patient detects a patient ID involved in the important change from the information, extracts the IP address of a PDA associated with the patient ID, which is preliminarily stored, based on the patient ID, and reports this change to each PDA based on the extraction information. In the PDA which receives the report, a message for the change in order of the patient is displayed, so that a user can read the message to timely acquire the latest order information. When it cannot be transmitted to the PDA, it is stored as an untransmitted list, and periodically retransmitted based on the untransmitted list.
