PURPOSE: To miniaturize a warehouse and make taking-out/housing efficient in an automatic warehouse having a conveyable size by providing housing bodies and a housing-body transferring bogie in a box-like warehouse body which can be provided under the floor of a building and providing a lifting device being continuously connected to the inside of the warehouse body.

CONSTITUTION: A warehouse body 1 having a box-like structure is provided under the floor of a building, etc., and a lifting device 2 is continuously provided on one end side of the warehouse body 1. Housing bodies 3 each having a projecting frame 311 and a caster 34 on the underside 30, a door 32 on the front side, and a projecting crosspiece 321 and a guide projection 322 on each of the right/left side walls 31, 31, are placed in lines in the warehouse body 1. Further, rails 121 are laid along the rows of the housing bodies 3 to make a transferring bogie 4 travel thereon. In this structure, the housing body 3 is placed on the bogie 4, transferred on the rails, and lifted up/down with the projecting crosspieces 321 being engaged with the lifter 22 of the lifting device 2, to carry out taking-out and housing. Thereby, a modularized, miniaturized and highly efficient warehohse can be obtained.
