Abstract:

To provide a liquid pump equipped with a novel in-liquid vortex prevention device capable of preventing cavitation from being generated due to in-liquid vortex of the liquid pump, which results in damage of equipment.

A liquid pump includes: a suction part outside passage that is connected to a suction part which sucks liquid in a shaft axial direction by a shaft having an impeller and that supplies liquid from a direction opposite to a suction direction of the suction part; a suction part bottom face that connects the suction part and the suction part outside passage; and a suction part inside liquid tank disposed between the suction part and the suction part outside passage. An in-liquid vortex prevention member is disposed on the suction part bottom face. The in-liquid vortex prevention member has an upper disc, a lower disc which is fixed on the suction part bottom face, and a connection part which connects the upper disc and the lower disc. A lateral face of the connection part has a curved surface formed in a continuous manner from the suction part bottom face.
