To provide an in-mold transfer film useful as the base film for an in-mold transfer foil having excellent antistatic properties over the range from an in-mold transfer foil manufacturing process to molding transfer, enabling the marked enhancement of productivity, causing no peeling of a mold release layer and a base film at in-mold transfer and also excellent in the adhesiveness with the mold release layer during molding.

The in-mold transfer film is composed of a polyester film and the antistatic layer, which characteristically contains a cationic polymer, provided thereon and contains a specific monomer component (a) as the cationic polymer.
