PURPOSE: To repair a joint section in a pipe under a buried state without expanding and shaving the pipe by press-fitting a press-fitting cylinder section from a branch pipe port into a branch pipe under the state, in which the press- fitting cylinder section is covered with a repair member, on a surface of which adhesives are executed, and bonding the repair member extending over the port edge section of the branch pipe port from the internal surface of a branch pipe.

CONSTITUTION: A repair member, on a surface of which adhesives are executed, is installed onto a press-fitting cylinder section 20. A self-advancing means 80 is remotely controlled, and the device 100 is guided to an aimed branch pipe port 12 in a main pipe 10. A press-contact means 60 is press-contacted and driven by a press-contact driving means 70, the press-fitting cylinder section 20 is press-fitted into a branch pipe 11 while a port edge press-contact section 30 is press-contacted with the port edge section 13 of the branch pipe port 12, and the repair member is bonded extending over the port edge section 13 of the branch pipe port 12 from the internal surface of the branch pipe 11. Accordingly, repair work can rapidly be conducted easily.
