PURPOSE: To provide an inpipe propelling and cleaning appliance for propelling easily the inside of a piping with a number of pipe joints forming bending sections which make a difficulty in propelling the appliance in the methods heretofore avilable and cleaning the inner wall of the pipe at the same time in water supply piping or a water discharge piping.

CONSTITUTION: An in-pipe propelling and cleaning appliance consists of a disk- shaped support plate 2 having flexible wire 1 as an insert main body with its front end facing a central section on the rear side, and a propelling and cleaning head 13 composed of one steel pressure-fixed helix spring with its root section 14 fixed close to the outer periphery of the disk-shaped support plate 2 on the front side of the disk-shaped support plate 2 and also with its end 15 protruding from the root section 14 in the front oblique direction in a manner of positioning outside the outer periphery of the disk-shaped support plate 2.
