PURPOSE: To provide an in-pipe running vehicle wherein also inspection, work, etc., in a pipe peripheral direction can be easily performed and further the vehicle can correspond to various conditions, in the in-pipe running vehicle moved in a pipe axial direction in a pipe while attracted to a pipe internal wall surface by magnetic attractive force of magnetically attracting wheels provided in a running vehicle main unit.

CONSTITUTION: Magnetically attracting wheels 3 are constituted steerable about an axial center at a right angle to a pipe internal wall surface 1b, to also hold, in an overhung condition from a running vehicle main unit 4, an attitude of the magnetically attracting wheels 3 relating to the attraction objective pipe internal wall surface 1b into contact therewith, and an assist wheel 24 for assisting the magnetically attracting wheels 3 attracted to the attraction objective pipe internal wall surface is provided and formed switchable to an operating condition protruded and a nonoperating condition retracted, from the running vehicle main unit 4.
