Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve energy saving of power generation energy for electrical apparatuses in a ship, including an electric motor for driving a pump or the like.SOLUTION: A ship includes electric motors 14a-14d for driving pumps 11a-11d. The electric motors 14a-14d constitute an electrical apparatus operated on electric power generated by generators 21-23. The generators 21-23 are driven by engines 24-26. By adjusting the rotational speed of the engines 24-26, a frequency of electric power generated by the generators 21-23 is converted to a working frequency and a lower energy saving frequency than the working frequency.
