Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method of VOC concentration in soil on the ground using a mixing treatment unit prior to cleaning, and a cleaning method of soil and groundwater using it.
SOLUTION: Prior to in situ cleaning of the soil and groundwater polluted with a VOC, the mixing treatment unit is inserted into the earth for agitating and mixing a purifying agent. Gas is jetted into the earth from the mixing treatment unit and at the same time, the gas or groundwater with a VOC mixed thereto is sucked to the ground side via a recovering apparatus attached to the mixing treatment unit to measure the VOC concentration in the gas or groundwater. Prior to in situ cleaning of the soil and groundwater polluted with a VOC, the recovering apparatus is disposed on the ground side around a rotation shaft of the mixing treatment unit, the unit is inserted into the earth, the gas is jetted into the earth from the mixing treatment unit and at the same time, the gas with the VOC mixed thereto is sucked to the ground side by the recovering apparatus through vertical holes formed around the rotation shaft, to measure the VOC concentration in the gas.
