Abstract:
To reduce the cost of development, installation, and maintenance while providing a good reduction in the detection of obstacles in the blind spot space immediately in front of a vehicle using front sensing cameras installed in a driver's cab.SOLUTION: An in-vehicle camera system includes an imaging unit that captures images of the front of a vehicle from a driver's cab of the vehicle, and a line laser irradiation unit that irradiates the road surface distal to a blind spot space with a line laser through the blind spot space immediately in front of the vehicle at the imaging unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
