Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for exchanging data in a motor vehicle for operating an actuator, preferably an automated friction clutch and/or an automated gearbox, wherein data is exchanged between at least two actuators having in each case control units and an external test unit, an identification code being used for detecting the control unit. In a method that allows a fast, yet nevertheless highly precise data transmission, the test unit activates the first control unit of the first actuator with a first request identification code, whereupon the first control unit of the first actuator responds to the test unit with a first response identification code when the transmitted request identification code has been correct, and the test unit addresses the second control unit of the second actuator with a second request identification code, whereupon said second control unit sends a second response identification code to the test unit when the second control unit has been correctly addressed.
