Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle apparatus for displaying a guide route on which road regulation information on lane change prohibition is reflected.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle apparatus comprises a storage unit for storing road map information, route retrieval means for retrieving a guide route to a destination by the road map information on the basis of a predetermined retrieval condition and display control means for displaying the guide route retrieved by the route retrieval means on a display unit. The apparatus further comprises lane change prohibition means for determining the presence or absence of settings of lane change prohibition according to the road map information, regarding an entrance road to enter facilities inputted as a destination, and connection road retrieval means for, when the lane change prohibition means determines the presence of the lane change prohibition settings, connecting to the endmost lane on the side of the facilities so as to allow a vehicle to enter and retrieving a connection road having no settings of lane change prohibition according to the road map information. The route retrieval means retrieves a guide route to the facilities via the connection road.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
