To provide an in-vehicle display device capable of using the whole screen of a display member for displaying information, dividing display contents of the screen to be recognized visually, for instance, during high-speed travelling, and keeping safety during travelling.

A front face panel 20 is operated between a closed position covering the screen 16a such as a liquid crystal panel and an open position coming off from the screen 16a. In the closed position, a display image can be limited by a central window 21, and a right side window 22 and a left side window 23 formed at the front face panel 20, and thus, information can be divided to be recognized visually. When the front face panel 20 comes to the open position, the whole area of the screen 16a can be used as a display area and such as an external monitoring image can be displayed in the screen 16a.
