Abstract:
To provide an on-vehicle electric system in which the output voltage of a high-voltage battery is stepped down by a step-down part and is supplied to low-voltage equipment and which can properly drive the low-voltage equipment even in a failure of the step-down part.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle electric system 1 comprises: a battery 2 having a plurality of battery cells; first electric equipment 3 driven on the basis of the output voltage of the battery; second electric equipment 4 driven with a lower voltage than that of the first electric equipment; a step-down part 5 that steps down the output voltage of the battery and supplies the same to the second electric equipment; and a supply part 6 that is connected to the second electric equipment in parallel to the step-down part and can supply electric power to the second electric equipment while using partial cells as a power source, which are a part of the battery cells in the battery. The supply part has a first blocking part D1 for blocking inflow of an electric current from the step-down part to the partial cell side. The step-down part supplies a stepped-down voltage to the second electric equipment, which is a higher voltage than the rated output voltage of the partial cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
