To provide an in-vehicle electronic device whereby a space occupied by an instrument panel can be reduced, and assembly work can be facilitated and thereby the cost can be reduced.
This in-vehicle electronic device is equipped with a frame body mounted on the instrument panel of a vehicle so as to be freely taken in and out, a thin electronic device body arranged on a front surface side of the frame body, and a housing case part which is the frame body and arranged in the rear of the electronic device body. The thickness of the electronic device body is reduced and thereby the space in the rear thereof can be constituted as the housing case part, and the whole body can be constituted so as to be taken in and out. Therefore, the space occupied by the instrument panel can be reduced. Further, the assembly work to the instrument panel is facilitated, and the labor and time required for the assembly work can be reduced.
