Abstract:
This on-board device (1) comprises a housing (10), at least one cooling device (11), and at least one turbulence generation member (12a, 12b). The housing (10) is mounted to a railway car and used to accommodate an electronic component that generates heat. The cooling device (11) is mounted to the housing (10) while thermally connected to the electronic component, is positioned on the exterior of the housing (10), and dissipates heat transmitted from the electronic component into the travel wind generated by travel of the railway car. The turbulence generation member (12a, 12b) is provided in the flow path of the travel wind and generates turbulence by obstructing the flow of some of the travel wind to the cooling device (11).
