Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle imaging apparatus in which contrast can be enhanced without blurring a subject during imaging from a vehicle traveling at high speed or imaging the subject moving at high speed.SOLUTION: A video processing section 3 is capable of performing wide dynamic range processing (WDR processing) 4 for synthesizing one image from two images of different exposure conditions and performing contrast correction processing 5 for correcting gradations for one image, and a vehicle speed sensor section 7 detects a traveling speed of a vehicle. A video control section 6 controls the video processing section 3 to perform the WDR processing 4 when the traveling speed is lower than or equal to a threshold value A, and to perform the contrast correction processing 5 when the traveling speed exceeds the threshold value A.
