Abstract:
To provide an in-vehicle network device capable of making the communication stop timing of each control unit be appropriate, and eliminating a problem due to the deviation of the communication stop timing in the control unit connected through a communication line such as a CAN.
In an engine ECU 2 and the master ECU 4a of a transmission ECU 4 connected to a first CAN 6, CAN communication stop time is set to common predetermined time. In the master ECU 4a and slave 4b of the transmission ECU 4 connected to a second CAN 8, transmission stop time is set to be shorter than the reception stop time of the ECU of the shortest reception stop time.
