Abstract:
To improve operability of a user by generating reaction force and thrust force applied to operation of a direction indication operating means when a display screen of a Web page is displayed.
In an on-vehicle operating device 1, a main display 5 is divided into a plurality of grids (grid A-grid I) and the Web page downloaded from a server 16 is displayed on the main display 5. When the user operates a joystick 10 in order to move a grid cursor (see P) and select a desired URL, a force generating mechanism 12 generates the reaction force and the thrust force applied to the operation of the joystick 10.
