Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor drive device which reduces vibration transmission effect of a motor and inhibits vibration in an audible frequency range and the occurrence of vehicle cabin inner noise despite its simple structure.SOLUTION: An in-wheel motor drive device includes: a wheel bearing 5 supporting a wheel; and an electric motor 1 which rotates a rotary wheel 27 of the wheel bearing 5. The electric motor 1 includes: a motor housing 8; a stator 9 having a core 9a and a coil 9b and provided in the motor housing 8; and a rotor 10 in which magnets are incorporated, the rotor 10 which may rotate relative to the stator 9. A non-contact part 8aa where the stator 9 does not contact is provided at a housing step part 8a fixing the stator 9 in the motor housing 8.
