Abstract:
To provide an in-wheel motor drive mechanism smaller, lighter, superior in durability and highly reliable.
The in-wheel motor drive mechanism 21 comprises a casing 22, a motor part A for rotationally driving a motor side rotating member 25, a speed reduction part B for reducing the rotation of the motor side rotating member and transmitting it to a wheel side rotating member 28, and a wheel hub 32 fixedly connected to the wheel side rotating member 28. The speed reduction part B has a cycloid reduction mechanism, wherein an inner pin 31 is supported at its one-side end by the wheel side rotating member 28 and retained at its other-side end in a revolution permissible state by the casing 22.
