To improve the machinability and the stiffness of a guide housing of a linear guide with an elastic member used for a shock absorbing device elastically supporting an in-wheel motor to a knuckle, and to make the position of the linear guide with the elastic member closer to the center of gravity.

The linear guide unit 20 comprises the two linear guides 21 composed of guide shafts 21a, guide bearings 21b, and guide housings 21c having cylindrical through-holes storing the guide bearings 21b; upper and lower guide receiving members 23, 24 attached to a plate on a motor side, and supporting ends of the guide shafts 21a; and coil springs 25, 26 arranged between the guide housings 21c and the guide receiving members 23, 24. A shock absorbing member with a structure that the guide housings 21c of the linear guide unit 20 is mounted to the knuckle side plate is used.
