Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure lateral force toe-in during turning.SOLUTION: An in-wheel suspension device IWS1 has a first elastic bush 6a, a second elastic bush 6b, and a third elastic bush 6c provided on a vehicle support section of a suspension member 2. The elastic bushes are separately provided such that the first elastic bush 6a is disposed on a vehicle upper side with respect to a wheel center 7 and the second elastic bush 6b and the third elastic bush 6c are disposed on a vehicle lower side with respect to the wheel center 7. An elastic center 10a of the first elastic bush 6a is set to a vehicle front position with respect to an elastic center 10b of the second elastic bush 6b and the third elastic bush 6c. A virtual steering axis 11 connecting the two elastic centers 10a and 10b is disposed to be inclined forward, and an intersection 13 between an extension line of the virtual steering axis 11 and a ground surface 12 is disposed at a vehicle rear position with respect to a lateral force action point 14 during turning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
